Making The Point (Webinar): Lessons for Communicating Effectively from a Seasoned Detective Negotiator

Date:Wednesday 7th March 2012 12.30 - 1.30 pm
Suitable: For leaders, managers and others who frequently need to communicate with their teams or across departments.
Price: Not applicable.
Note:Presentation materials will be available for participants for download.

This lively and highly practical session will explore the numerous pitfalls that many unwittingly fall into when communicating with staff, as well as a host of ways for maximizing the chance that a message will really get through to its audience.

Offering practical take-aways, tips, meaningful anecdotes and 'micro-tools', the speakers will show how to engage the interest of others as well as describing ways for determining whether a communication has achieved what it was meant for or not. The relative merits of using alternative means for communicating will also be discussed in a session that will allow participants an opportunity to pose questions and interact with the presenters if they wish.

An audio recording of the session will be available for registering delegates following the event (registration doesn't require reconfirmation or obligatory participation in the live event).
